Obtain a bachelor’s Degree in a discipline like Law, Public Administration, Political Science, or Economics.

Prepare and clear UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) examination.

Select IAS (Indian Administrative Service) as your preference when filling out the form for the civil services examination.

After clearing the examination, you will take training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA).

Upon completion of LBSNAA training, you will do a probationary period as a Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) or Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM).
