Shortlisted nursing candidates must follow the mandatory admission norms established by WBJEEB:
- Fresh Allottees in Round 2: Candidates who are allotted a nursing seat for the first time must pay the mandatory provisional seat acceptance fee of Rs. 5,000/- online to download their allotment letter before reporting to the institution.
- Upgraded Candidates from Round 1: Candidates who confirmed admission in Round 1 and secure a higher-preference seat in Round 2 do not need to pay the Rs. 5,000 fee again. However, their earlier Round 1 seat stands cancelled automatically, and they must report to the newly allotted nursing school.
- Mandatory Physical Reporting: Completing fee payment online is not enough; candidates must physically present original documents and pass medical fitness verification at the allotted institution by August 29 (6:00 PM).
- Participation in Mop-Up Round: Candidates not satisfied with their Round 2 allotment or those who remain unallotted can participate in Round 3 (Mop-Up Round) starting August 31.
