NEET PG 2026 CBT Paper Pattern & Sectional Timers
NBEMS conducts the entrance examination under a time-bound sectional test architecture:
- Total Questions: 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divided into five mandatory sections (Section A to Section E) containing 40 questions each.
- Sectional Time Allocation: Candidates are allotted 42 minutes per section. Once the time for a section elapses, the system automatically transitions to the next section without the option to revisit earlier questions.
- Marking Scheme: +4 marks awarded for each correct response, 1 mark deducted (-1) for each incorrect response, and 0 marks for unattempted questions.
- Language Medium: The question paper is provided strictly in English.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Download NEET PG 2026 Admit Card
Follow these steps on the official candidate portal to download and print your hall ticket:
- Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
- Under the "Examinations" tab, click on "NEET PG".
- Click on the link titled "Applicant Login / Download Admit Card 2026".
- Enter your User ID and Password, then enter the security captcha code.
- Navigate to the candidate dashboard and select the "Admit Card" tab.
- Verify your test centre details, reporting timing, photograph, and barcode, then click "Download Admit Card PDF".
- Print at least two clear colour copies on standard A4-sized paper.
Mandatory Document Checklist for Exam Day Verification (Aug 30)
Candidates must present the following original documents at the security check; entry without them is strictly barred:
- Printed Colour Admit Card: A crisp colour printout of the NEET PG 2026 Hall Ticket with a recent passport-size colour photograph (minimum 35×45 mm with white background) firmly pasted in the designated space.
- Valid Government Photo ID (Original & Unexpired): PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card with clear photo. Photocopies or digital phone scans are not accepted.
- Medical Council Registration: Original or photocopy of Permanent / Provisional Medical Registration Certificate issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC).
- FMGE Documentation: Pass Certificate of FMGE screening test along with provisional/permanent registration certificate (for foreign medical graduates).
- Prohibited Items: Smartwatches, mobile phones, Bluetooth headsets, calculators, wallets, stationery boxes, and metallic ornaments are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
