- Office Assistant (Clerk):
- Age Limit: 18 to 28 years (relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per government norms).

- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the official local language of the participating state/UT is mandatory. Working knowledge of computers is desirable.
- Officer Scale I (Probationary Officer):

- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preference given to Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, IT, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy).

The non-refundable application fee must be paid through online banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI:
- SC, ST, and PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST)
- All Other Candidates (General, OBC, EWS): Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST)
- Dual Post Registration: Candidates can apply for both Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Scale I, but must complete separate registrations and submit individual application fees for each post.
Preliminary Exam Pattern (Officer Scale I & Office Assistant)
The preliminary examination is an objective online test carrying 80 marks across 80 questions with a composite duration of 45 minutes:
- Reasoning Ability: 40 Questions (40 Marks). Evaluates seating arrangement, puzzles, syllogisms, inequalities, coding-decoding, and direction sense.
- Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude: 40 Questions (40 Marks). Evaluates simplification/approximation, number series, data interpretation (DI), arithmetic word problems, and quadratic equations.
- Marking Scheme & Language: Each correct response awards +1 mark. A penalty of 0.25 (1/4th) marks is deducted for every incorrect response. Question papers are available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional state languages.
