Strict Exit & Security Deposit Forfeiture Regulations
Unlike Round 1, Round 2 counselling features stringent exit and seat retention rules as mandated by MCC guidelines:
- No Free Exit in Round 2: Candidates allotted a fresh seat in Round 2 who choose not to report to the allotted institute will forfeit their refundable security deposit (Rs. 10,000/- for Government AIQ/Central Universities and Rs. 2,00,000/- for Deemed Universities).
- Automatic Cancellation on Upgradation: Candidates who were admitted in Round 1 and secured an upgraded seat in Round 2 will have their Round 1 seat automatically cancelled. They must collect their original documents and relieving letter from the previous college and report to the newly allotted college.
- Round 3 (Mop-Up) Upgradation Option: Candidates who join their Round 2 allotted seat can submit their willingness for upgradation to participate in Round 3.
- Anti-Seat Blocking Directives: Candidates who accept and join their Round 2 allotted seat are barred from resigning after the stipulated timeline and cannot participate in concurrent state quota counselling rounds.

Mandatory Physical Verification Document Checklist
When reporting to the allotted medical/dental college between September 12 and September 20, candidates must carry original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies:
- MCC Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (Round 2).
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card and Official NTA Scorecard / Rank Letter.
- Class 10 Certificate and Marksheet (Date of Birth verification).
- Class 12 Certificate and Marksheet.
- Eight (8) recent passport-sized colour photographs (identical to the application form).
