Strict Exit & Security Deposit Forfeiture Regulations
Candidates must take note of the stringent regulatory and financial directives governing Round 2:
- No Free Exit: Round 2 does not offer a free exit facility. If a candidate is allotted a fresh seat in Round 2 and chooses not to report to the allotted college, their refundable security deposit (Rs. 10,000/- for Government AIQ/Central Universities/AIIMS or Rs. 2,00,000/- for Deemed Universities) will be forfeited.
- Round 1 Upgradation Norms: Candidates who were admitted in Round 1 and secured an upgraded seat in Round 2 will have their Round 1 seat automatically vacated and allotted to the next candidate. Such students must obtain an online seat relief letter and collect original documents from the Round 1 college and report to the newly allotted college by September 20.
- Willingness for Round 3 Upgradation: Candidates who join their Round 2 allotted seat can submit their willingness to participate in Round 3 for further institutional upgradation.
- Anti-Seat Blocking Directive: Candidates who join their allotted seat in Round 2 cannot resign after the permitted reporting window and will be barred from participating in state quota counselling to prevent dual seat holding per Supreme Court orders.

- 15% All India Quota General / Unreserved Closing Rank: Closed around AIR 23,200 – 23,800.
