Through the Air Force Common Entrance Test, aspirants are invited to join the Indian Air Force as Commissioning Officers in the Flying, Ground Duty (Non-Technical), and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches. The test is held twice a year, in February and August. Prior to application for the test, interested candidates must gather information.

AFCAT 2022 Application form
The AFCAT 2022 Registration Form can be submitted until December 30, 2021. When filling out application forms, it’s a good idea to have all of the necessary paperwork on hand, as specifics are required to be filled out according to matriculation and other academic certifications.
Please save a current color passport-size photograph on your computer (size 10 to 50 KB) for submitting with your Online application form. Please keep in mind that filling out the application online requires extreme caution. - Select ‘Candidates Login’ from the drop-down menu.

- ‘Submit’ is located at the bottom of the page. The registered Email address will receive a new AFCAT Registration ID and Password.

AFCAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The qualifying criteria for AFCAT 2022 vary depending on the branch. The following is the whole information:
A branch that flies
Eligible candidates can apply for the exam if they have at least 60 percent in math and physics at the secondary school level. Only one individual can apply if they were born between the 2nd of January 1997 and the 1st of January 2003. Those who have completed their B.E./ B. Tech. are also eligible to take the exam.
Technical Ground Duty
Anyone who has finished a bachelor’s degree in any of the fields with a grade point average of at least 60% is eligible to take the test. In addition, an applicant must have completed topics such as physics and mathematics at the secondary school level. In this category, a student’s age must be between January 2nd, 1997, and January 1st, 2003.
Non-technical Ground Duty
If you are enrolling for this category, you must have a degree in any of the fields with at least 60% marks, as well as 60% in the Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India’s Section A & B test. In this group, the birth date must fall between January 2nd and January 1st, 2003.
AFCAT 2022 Exam Pattern
- The AFCAT online test is required of all registered candidates.
- The test includes questions from the Military Aptitude Test General Awareness and Verbal Ability in English, as well as questions from Numerical Ability and Reasoning.
