AP DEECET 2024 is an examination conducted for admission to Andhra Pradesh’s Government District Institutions’ two-year Diploma in Educational program. The acronym AP DEECET refers to the Advanced Placement Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test. The AP DEECET will serve as a stepping stone for candidates interested in pursuing a two-year D.Ed (Diploma in Education) program.
On behalf of the Government District Institutions of Andhra Pradesh, the School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh conducts the AP DEECET. The Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (AP DEECET 2024) is a state-level exam. Aspirants who want to enroll in a Diploma in Education program at one of Andhra Pradesh’s top district colleges can take the AP DEECET exam.

AP DEECET 2024 Application form
The application form for the AP DEECET has been released on 24th April 2024. The deadline for submitting an online application is the 12th June 2024. The candidates must first register for the examination. On the official website, www.apdeecet.apcfss.in, candidates must fill out and submit the AP DEECET online application form.
Candidates are advised to enter accurate information in their application forms; any discrepancies discovered later in the process will result in the contender’s ineligibility. While applying for the exam, candidates should have a scanned copy of their recent photograph and autograph on hand.
Application fee
- Applicants can pay using a debit card, credit card, or net banking to make their payments online.
- Applicants must pay application fees to complete the application procedure after filling out the application form.
Applicants must make a payment of Rs.500/- through a payment gateway.
Here are the steps to fill out the form:
- Visit the Government of Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department’s official website.
- To fill out the online application form, students must first read the instructions.
Complete and accurately fill out the application form.
In the required format, upload the scanned photo (30kb – 20kb) and signature (30kb – 15kb1.5 cm). - After filling out all of the required fields and submitting images and signatures, click the Submit button.
- It is recommended that candidates download and print the completed application form for future reference.

AP DEECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Students must check their eligibility criteria before beginning to fill out the online application form. The following are the eligibility requirements for the AP DEECET:
- The student must be an Indian national.
- On September 1st of the admission year, students must have reached the age of 17.
- There will be no age restriction.
- Applicants must be residents of Andhra Pradesh and meet the local/non-local status requirements set forth by the Andhra Pradesh State Education Institutions.
- All interested candidates must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from an Andhra Pradesh or Telangana-approved board.
- SC/ ST/ PH category candidates must have received a minimum of 50% and SC/ ST/ PH category candidates must have received a minimum of 45 percent.
- Admission is not available to those who have completed intermediate vocational courses.
AP DEECET 2024 Exam Pattern
- The AP DEECET 2024 exam is exclusively available online.
- The entrance exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions that are objective in nature.
- Part 1 (common to everyone) and Part 2 for the subject (as per the candidate’s choice) will be divided into two parts.
- The examination will take 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
- Each correct answer will receive one mark.
- Because there is no negative grading for incorrect answers, students are free to attempt all of the questions.
- The question paper will only be available in Telugu/English, Urdu/English, and Tamil/English.

AP DEECET 2024 Admit Card
Applicants must input the required credentials, such as their candidate ID, to download the AP DEECET Admit Card 2024. To the examination hall, all applicants must bring their respective admission cards as well as a valid photo ID. Candidates will not be allowed to attend the examination center if they do not have the above-mentioned documents. Candidates can download their admit cards or hall tickets from the AP DEECET official website after they have completed their application form.
AP DEECET 2024 Result
The AP DEECET final results has been announced on 30th May 2024. The results of the AP DEECET examination will be released on the official website. The website will also have the AP DEECET answer key and rank card. The AP DEECET 2024 Results section has instructions on how to access and download your results and rank cards.
AP DEECET 2024 Merit List
The cut-off marks are the minimum qualifying marks that an applicant must achieve in order to pass the entrance examination. The official website will announce the cut-off marks. Students will be able to tell if they have been shortlisted for the selection process by looking at the cut-off marks.
AP DEECET 2024 Counseling
Students who have passed the AP DEECET examination are eligible to register for the AP DEECET counseling session. In June 2024, the counseling procedure will begin (tentative). During the counseling process for AP DEECET 2024 admission, candidates can specify their preferred colleges and courses.
The candidate’s marks in the exam will be used to determine his or her admission. The operation will be conducted entirely online. During the AP DEECET Counseling Process, candidates must retain their documentation on hand.
