- Academic Qualification: Candidates who have completed an undergraduate Bachelor's degree or are currently in the final year of their qualifying degree are eligible. There is no minimum aggregate percentage required to appear in the examination.
- Nationality & Age Limit: Open to all Indian and foreign nationals with no upper age limit.

- All Other Candidates (General / OBC-NCL / EWS): Rs. 2,000/-

Comprehensive Exam Pattern & Sectional Marking Scheme
The 3-hour computer-based test consists of 60 questions carrying a total of 100 marks across three sections:
- Section A (30 Multiple Choice Questions – MCQs): 10 questions of 1 mark each and 20 questions of 2 marks each. Negative marking applies: 1/3 mark deducted for incorrect 1-mark answers, and 2/3 mark deducted for incorrect 2-mark answers.
- Section B (10 Multiple Select Questions – MSQs): 10 questions carrying 2 marks each. Questions can have one or more correct options. Candidates must choose all correct options to earn marks; there is zero partial marking and zero negative marking.
- Section C (20 Numerical Answer Type – NAT): 10 questions of 1 mark each and 10 questions of 2 marks each. Answers must be entered using the virtual on-screen numeric keypad. There is zero negative marking.
