Critical Allotment Rules: Auto-Freeze & Seat Acceptance Protocols

- Auto-Freeze Policy for Preferences 1 to 6: Under updated CET Cell regulations, if a candidate is allotted any seat corresponding to their top six preferences (1 to 6), the allotment will be automatically frozen. Such candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted college for final admission.
- Self-Freeze for Preferences 7 and Beyond: Candidates allotted seats from preference number 7 downwards can choose to self-freeze their allotment by paying the Rs. 1,000 seat acceptance fee online through their candidate portal.
- Cancellation of Previous Allotments: If a candidate opted for betterment in Round 2 and secures an upgraded seat in Round 3, their Round 2 admission stands cancelled automatically, and the previous seat is reallocated.
- Mandatory Physical Reporting: Completing online self-verification alone does not finalize admission. Candidates must report in person to the allotted engineering institution with original certificates and course tuition fees before 5:00 PM on August 28.
