There are two types of courses in pharmacy, B Pharma and D Pharma. After doing these courses, students can secure their future easily. If you are interested in science and life science and medicine, then you can easily make a career in the field of pharmacy.

How to Become a Pharmacist?

If you want to become a Pharmacist then First you need to do a B.Pharmacy from any Recognized Institute.

D.Pharmacy

D. Pharma is called Diploma in Pharmacy, it is a two-year diploma course, it is the minimum qualification to become a pharmacist in India, B. Pharma has a higher value than D. Pharma but after doing D. Pharma you can apply for B. Pharma and you will get admission in the second year of B.Pharma, which is called lateral

B.Pharmacy

Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduate degree course that has a duration of four years. B. Pharma’s four-year course has eight semesters and each semester has a duration of six months. It is compulsory to give theoretical external examinations which are called main exams. Some semesters have theoretical like in the hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, and community pharmacy. After this course, you will get the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy.

After completing B Pharma, there is a lot of job potential in government and non-government institutions. After completing the course, you can get a license for a medical store, after getting the license graduate students can work as pharmacists in government hospitals, private hospitals, and private medical clinics or you can do your own medical store.

Apart from this, many pharmaceutical companies offer jobs to graduate students. Graduates in a pharmaceutical company can work in many departments like manufacturing, packing, quality control, marketing, etc. You can find many types of government jobs in these fields like Drug Inspector, Podders, and get a job in ORS Manufacturing Units and State-Owned Tablet companies.
