Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test is abbreviated as TS DEECET. The Department of School Education is the official authority to administer the entrance exam for the applicants on behalf of the Government of Telangana.
Applicants who pass the entrance test will be entitled to enrol in two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) programmes at Telangana’s government District Schools of Educational Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary teacher training institutions.

TS DEECET 2023 Application form
On 9th May 2023, the TS DEECET 2023 Online Registration Form was made available. The deadline for submitting a registration form is July 2023. The TS DEECET 2023 Registration Correction will begin on August 2023.

TS DEECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The following are the projected eligibility requirements for TS DEECET 2023.
- Nationality and Domicile: The applicant must be an Indian national, and candidates must meet the Telangana Government’s local/non-local status criterion.
Academic Qualifications:
The qualifying degree criterion is that the applicant must have passed or be appearing/appearing for the Intermediate examination or its equivalent.
Minimum marks required- at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/PH Category applicants) in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of September 1 of the admission year. There will be no upper age limit for entry to the programmes listed above.
- Applicants who have passed the Intermediate Exam with vocational courses are ineligible.
TS DEECET 2023 Exam Pattern

- Exam Mode: The admission exam will be administered online (computer-based test).
- Number of Problems: In the admissions test, applicants must answer approximately 100 questions.
- Type of Question: In the entrance test, official authorities will ask objective-type questions.
- Exam Time Limit: Applicants will have two hours and thirty minutes to complete the entire entrance exam paper.
- Marking scheme: Each correct answer will be worth one point.
- Negative Marking: The admission exam does not allow for negative marking.
- Exam Language: The admissions test question paper will be available in Telugu, Urdu, and English.

TS DEECET 2023 Counselling
