Civil Engineering is professional engineering that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment. The civil engineer is the person who designs the framework of government and non-governmental construction work sites.

This construction took place in (Circa 2700–2500 BC). Apart from this, the Qanat Water Management System is also a very good example of civil engineering. And India’s first female civil engineer was Shakuntala A. Bhagat.
