3. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET-SS) – NEET-SS is a national-level entrance examination. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) MD/MCh Entrance Exam – JIPMER, Puducherry, conducts a separate entrance examination every year for admission into its MD and MCh programs. This exam evaluates candidates’ knowledge, clinical skills, and research aptitude.

These entrance generally consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and sometimes also include a practical examination, viva voce, or interview. Candidates who perform excellently in these exams are shortlisted for further admission processes.

The average fees in India for Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery(MS) programs vary as per different institutions.
