Kerala State Education Board, Pareekshabhawan, Thiruvananthapuram has to Organize the Examination of Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) twice a Year. The Official Authority will conduct Kerala TET in two Paper i.e Paper I & Paper-II. The Candidate who intending to teach Class I to V can apply for Paper I Similarly the Candidate who intending to teach Class VI to VIII can apply for Paper-II. Official Authority will Release the Notification Very Soon.

It is the State Level Entrance Examination. This board belongs to an Indian state which name is Kerala. Those students who qualified for the KTET Examination are eligible to apply for teaching in the government school of Kerala.

KTET 2021 Application Form

The application form can be accessed through the official site of Kerala TET. The Application Process will be done through Online Mode. Before Applying to the Kerala TET 2021 Candidates have to Check their Eligibility Criteria which are arranged by the Official Authority of Kerala TET. The Application Link has been Activated on 28th April 2021 and the candidate can not apply after the specified date which is 23rd May 2021.

Follow the steps given below to fill up the application form.

  1. First of all, Candidates have to go to the official website of the Kerala State Education Board, Pareekshabhawan (https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/.)
  2. Click on ‘Apply Online Link.
  3. Submit all the personal and Academic Details which is required.
  4. candidate has to required to upload his/her recent photograph and full signature
  5. It must ensure that the photograph and signature will be clear otherwise the application will be canceled without further notice.
  6. If he/she remains absent during the verification of the certificate then the candidature of the candidate will be summarily rejected.
  7. The candidate must ensure that the personal details and documentation are complete and correct.
  8. If any reason the details which you fill in is incorrect or incomplete then your application form will not be accepted by the Official Authority.

Application Fee

The Application Fee can be Pay through Online Mode. After Completion of the Application, Form Candidate has to pay through a Debit/Credit Card. The Examination Fee for Unreserved Category is 500 rupees and for the Reserved Category such as Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, or Other Backward Classes is 250 rupees. Once you deposited the fee will not be refundable of any condition.

KTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants have to check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for Kerala TET 2021 Entrance Examination. If the Candidates will not satisfying the Eligibility Criteria will not be Eligible for Kerala TET Entrance Examination.

Basic Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be of Indian citizenship.

Eligibility for Lower Primary Teacher

  • Class 12 with Minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
  • Class 12 with minimum 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE OR
  • Class 12 with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education OR
  • Class 12 with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma Education in Special Education OR
  •  Degree of Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Eligibility for Upper Primary Teacher

  • Degree of Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Degree of Graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor in Education OR          
  • Degree of Graduation with minimum 45% marks and Bachelor in Education as per NCTE. OR
  • Class 12 with minimum 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education OR
  • Degree of Graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (Special Education). OR
  • Class 12 with minimum 50% marks and 4 years BA/BSc Ed or BA Ed / BSc Ed.

Eligibility for High School Teacher

  • MSc Ed degree in one of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Botany, Zoology with minimum 50% marks from Regional Institute of Education sponsored by NCERT.
  • LTTC with minimum 50% marks

KTET 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates can know the Complete Structure of the question paper with the help of Exam Pattern. In the exam pattern, you will get to know about the number and marks of questions, marking schemes, types of questions, and mode of exam.   • Number of Paper: Three Papers
  • Exam Mode: Offline

  • Number of Question: Each Paper contains 150 Question
  • Number of Marks: Each Paper Contains 150 Marks
  • Exam duration: Total of 150 minutes will be available for the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 Marks for Each Correct Answer
  • Negative Marking: No Negative marking

KTET 2021 Admit Card

Candidate must have their admit card in order to attend any upcoming examination conducted by Kerala TET. The admit cards will be made Online by the Official Authority just before the Examination for those students who have filled the Application Form. Moreover, candidates won’t be allowed to attend exams without an admit card. Here are the steps you need to follow to download the admit card:

  2. Enter your enrollment number, name, and DOB.
  3. Submit all the details and check that information again
  4. You will be redirected to the admit card page, download it for future.

KTET 2021 Answer Key

Answers to all the questions asked in the exam will be obtained from the answer key. The answer key is published by the official website Kerala State Education Board, Pareekshabhawan, Thiruvananthapuram after the exam.

Those applicants who have applied for the Kerala TET can calculate and guess their marks with the help of answer key. They can also present doubts, confusion to the board from the prescribed format. Based on the input from the candidates and the opinions of the experts in them, the final answer key will be displayed from the evaluation of the examination.

KTET 2021 Result

Kerala TET exam result 2021 will be released online by the official authority. After the examination, the results will be released for the candidates who appear in the examination by the Kerala State Education Board, Pareekshabhawan, Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates can know the marks obtained through percentage.

Candidates will have to do certificate verification after passing the examination. Students who have passed the exam will get an Eligibility Certificate from the official website.
