CUET 2025 Exam Date has been announced for UG Courses. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 is a computer-based test (CPT) that was initially known as Central University Common Entrance Test is an all India Entrance Test that is organized by National Testing Agency (NTA) for providing various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Integrated, Certification, Diploma courses, and Research Programmes in close to 45 Central Universities in India, which includes most prestigious well-known colleges. NTA generally conducts all big competitive exams in India. It is a recently developed exam that started in the year 2022. CUET 2025 is conducted in 13 different languages. This exam was introduced for making the admission process more streamlined and student-friendly by eliminating various entrance exams for the different institutions.

CUET 2025 Application Form

As per the past data, CUET 2025 can be conducted in the 1st week of February 2025. This exam opens doors of Opportunities for admission into more than 250 Universities which includes some of the best colleges in India. Entries in all Undergraduate courses for participating Universities would require students to give CUET, which makes it one of the largest examinations in India.

Candidates would be granted admission based on their performance in the CUET exam. Competition for securing a seat in the top Central Universities of India can be tough as it is a dream of every student participating in the CUET entrance exam. In 2023 87,879 candidates gave CUET in shift 1, In shift 2, there were 87,903 students gave the exam. 458 centers were allotted all over India.

CUET 2025 Application Fee

The application fee is different for students based on reservation. The details about the application fee according to the number of subjects you opt for are written below:-

How we can apply for the CUET examination in 2025

1. Step – Visit the official website of CUET 
2. Step – You will see the “Sign In” option at the corner of the site
3. Step – Click on the “Sign In” option and register yourself on that site
4. Step – Then give your basic details and make sure to check them twice before sending details. The details will mainly include the following things –
   • Personal Details
   • Exam Centre
   • Course and University Preference list
   • Qualifying Exam details
   • Correspondence Address
   • Photograph
   • Signature
   • Declaration, etc.
5. Step – Copy OTP and proceed further with filling out the application form
6. Step – You would be asked to upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the form.
7. Step – Pay the fees and select the course and University.

Eligibility Criteria for Central University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025

There are certain eligibility criteria that students are required to fulfill to get a chance to apply for the best colleges in India through CUET. Eligibility Criteria include:-

• A student must belong to Indian nationality.
• The student should have cleared his/ her class 12 examination.
• Class 12th should be passed by a recognized board or University.

However one should note that eligibility criteria can vary for admission into different colleges.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus of CUET 2025

CUET exams consist of chapters you have studied in your class 12 and candidates are advised to read their NCERT textbook thoroughly for scoring well in CUET. This exam is divided into three sections and contains Multiple Choice Questions.

• Section IA and IB – In this section, they mainly check your language skills which mainly focus on how well you can comprehend and solve reading comprehension. The number of questions would be 50.
• Section II – This section consists of Domain subjects which are your key subjects and you have studied this in your class 12. The number of questions would be 40.
• Section III – General Knowledge – This section will evaluate your General knowledge, Quantitative reasoning, Basic Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, etc. It will consist of 60 questions. The number of questions would be 60.

Note:- Students are required to attempt any 50 questions out of 60 in the general test and for all other tests, they have to do any 35 questions out of 40 Questions and 45 out of 50 questions in the language section.

The Time limit for Section I and Section and Section II is 45 minutes while for Section III it is 60 minutes.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025  Marking Scheme

The marking scheme for CUET 202r4 looks like this:-

• +5 would be awarded for every correct answer
• -1 would be deducted for every incorrect answer
• 0 marks for not attempting questions
• If more than one option is found correct =5 would be awarded to all students who have attempted that question
• If all options are found correct =5 will be awarded to all students who have attempted that question

Preparation Tips for CUET 2025

Below are some preparation Tips which you can follow and get ahead of your competition in the race of securing a seat in good colleges. 

• Get well with the exam pattern and know and understand your syllabus in detail
• Prepare according to the syllabus and proper strategies.
• Make short notes regularly, followed by  Revision.
• Solve the previous year’s question paper and mock test as many as you can
• Proper sleep is very important for keeping your mind fresh and active while studying
• Make a practice of doing Yoga daily.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Admit Card

Students who have successfully submitted their application form with the correct information would be able to download admit card. Admit card is expected to be issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode in the first week of May. Every student must carry their admit card and valid ID proof on the date of their examination.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Answer Key

CUET 2025 Answer Key will be Released soon for UG & PG Courses. The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) Answer Key is a document released by the exam authorities after the test. It contains the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam, allowing candidates to cross-check their responses. This helps students estimate their scores before the official results are declared.

The answer key is released on the official CUET website a few days after the exam. Students can download it and compare their answers, and if they find any discrepancies, they can raise objections within a stipulated time frame. This process ensures transparency and accuracy in the evaluation process.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result will be announced soon for UG & PG Courses. It will be in online mode. Login credentials would be provided to children using which they can access their results. The result will also show the rank secured by the candidate and if any child is found to practice unfair means, his/ her result would be canceled. 

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 Cut Off

The Cut-off for CUET is different for different universities. It is based on various factors such as availability of seats, difficulty level of examination, past year’s criteria, Number of candidates who appeared for that particular examination, etc. All the students who are qualified for the exam have to compulsorily participate in the counseling process. For checking the cut-off for different universities students need to go to the official website. 

Counseling Process of CUET 2025

Only the students who are qualified in the entrance exam would be getting a chance to participate in the counseling process. Every University would be conducting its Counseling process on different dates for UG and PG courses. Fees payment, document verification, etc. are some constituents of the counseling process.
