1). Diploma Course in Robotics Engineering: 

Diploma in Robotics Engineering is an undergraduate level program whose duration is 3 years. It is a very excited and amazing branch of technology that deals with computer-controlled technology. The main work area of this branch of technology is designing, constructing, operating,  manufacturing, and Application of robots.

Diploma for How To Become a Robotics Engineer: 

  • A candidate must be passed 10+2 with a Science stream from any recognized board.
  • A candidate must have biology, physics, mathematics, and chemistry as a subject in 10+2.
  • Prescribed Rules and Regulations by the concerned Institutions offering diploma in Robotics Engineering.

Candidates may go through the entrance examination for pursuing a diploma in Robotics engineering. It depends upon the kind of Institution you are applying for the diploma program. There are so many colleges and Institutions that take admissions in diploma in Robotics engineering without any entrance exam as well. but the Entrance exams are not mandatory to take admission in robotics engineering in any of the colleges. But in some Colleges, it’s required.

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Robotics.

B. Tech / B.E in Robotics Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program provided by many universities/colleges for specialization and personalized experience in the field of robotics. Candidates after completing 12 th or any equivalent education in science stream with subjects: physics, chemistry, biology / Mathematics can apply for this bachelor’s degree.

B. Tech or B.E in Robotic Engineering is an interdisciplinary course that involves mechanical engineering and electrical engineering as well. Employment resources for graduate candidates are accessible in the manufacturing industry and automation industry at high packages.

There is a further subdivision of this route:

  •  Private college Route.
  • Government / Public college Route.

1). Private College Route: The average course fees of b.tech and b.e in robotics engineering in private colleges starting from – 3 Lacs – 6 Lacs.

2). Government College Route (B.Tech / B.E in Robotics engineering): The average fees of B.tech / B.E in robotics engineering from public/ Government colleges vary from 3 Lacs – 5Lacs ( without hostel charges ).

Entrance Examinations for Admission in Bachelor degree (B.tech) and B.E in Robotics engineering  from IITs and Government Institutions: 

1).JEE Mains Eligibility

Candidates must be passed 12 th with Science stream (PCM plus English are compulsory subjects).

For admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs Applicants must have qualified 10+ with 75% (65% for reserved category Applicants) markings in their respective board examinations.

2) JEE Advanced: 

JEE Mains is followed by the JEE Advance Entrance exam which is conducted by or under the supervision of the Indian Institutes of technologies.

  • Mostly in private colleges / Institutions, Admission is based on the merit system but the average fees for the course are generally high.
  • And, in government institutions, candidates must be cleared the entrance examination, and generally, the average course fees are comparatively low.

After clearing the Examination of IIT JEE MAINS and ADVANCE you will get Admission in Respective IIT’s then you have to select your engineering branch in which you want to get Admission.
