Every year on the 5th of September, Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India. This is one of the most awaited days for not only teachers but also students as numerous interesting programs happen on this day and students get an opportunity to be a teacher for that day. This day holds millions of hearts and is celebrated to honor and appreciate the dedication of educators, who played a very significant role in shaping the future of millions of students worldwide. The day, 5th June was chosen to celebrate Teacher’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a scholar, an eminent philosopher, and the second President of India.

His birthday was chosen for the Teacher’s Day celebration to mark respect and admiration for his most significant contributions to the field of education and his commitment to the betterment of society.
