AHUU or Dr Abdul Haq Urdu University is an educational institution established in 2016 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institution is located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It has been set up under the A.P. Legislature Act 2016; named after a renowned educationist Dr Abdul Haq. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various mediums. The teaching medium is done in the Urdu language. The institution aims at providing higher education through Urdu medium along with the best possible curriculum. The subjects taught range between science and technology to social work and so much more. Their objective is to mainly promote the Urdu language and provide education to a wider population through the Urdu language thus embracing their culture. The courses are affordable and widely accessible thus inviting students even outside their culture to learn about their culture and learn more about the rich culture and heritage of Andhra Pradesh and mainly of the university.
