Eligibility for ANM course

The full form of ANM is Auxiliary Nurse Midwife. Only girls can do the ANM course. To do this course, you must have passed 10th from any stream. You must have English in the 10th standard. You can do this course from both government and private places. The fees for this course are very low in government institutions, but in private colleges, the fees of the ANM course can range from 30 thousand to 60 thousand rupees per year. In this course, students are given practical knowledge of the maintenance and use of equipment used during treatment. This course is for 2 years. You also have to complete an internship after the course.

GNM Course Detail

The full name of this course is General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a diploma course. Both boys and girls can do this course. The duration of this course is 3 years. The course is followed by an internship of 6 months. To do this course, you must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. In 12th you should have at least 40% marks. If you do this course at government college, then you have to pay a very low fee. GNM course fees in government institutions can be 25 to 35 thousand rupees per year.

The fees for this course in the same private college can range from 70 thousand to 1 lakh rupees per year. For admission to government institutions, you have to give an entrance exam. If you pass the entrance exam then you get admission to a government college.

B.Sc Nursing

B.Sc Nursing is a degree course. This course is for 4 years. Even after doing this course, one has to do an internship. To do this course, the candidate should have passed 12th PCM with at least 50 marks. If you want to do B.Sc Nursing from Government College, then you have to pass the entrance exam. Admission in private colleges is done on a merit basis or direct as well. Nowadays almost every big city has colleges of this course, you can take admission in any college according to your wish.
